Hi, I am Terrell Ellis (maiden name Terrell Patryce Shields), an inspiring African American woman whose journey from Louisville, Kentucky to Atlanta, Georgia embodies resilience, passion, and purpose.

As the oldest of six children raised in a single-family household, I quickly learned the importance of responsibility, perseverance, and leading by example. Those early experiences shaped me into the driven, compassionate, and disciplined woman I am today.

A Career Rooted in Beauty & Wellness

I am more than a beauty professional—I am a licensed cosmetologist, trichologist, certified esthetician, and cosmetology instructor. With years of experience and advanced training, I have built a career helping others look and feel their best from the inside out.

My specialties range from healthy hair care and scalp treatments to advanced skin care and beauty education. Im also known for blending science with artistry—whether restoring damaged hair, teaching aspiring beauty professionals, or creating customized wellness routines for clients.

Purpose Beyond the Chair

For me, beauty has always been about more than outward appearance. As a trichologist, I am driven into deeper science of hair and scalp health. As an instructor, I am empowered by the next generation of stylists to not just master techniques but to carry confidence, professionalism, and passion into their careers.

My philosophy is simple: when you take care of yourself, you show up stronger for everything and everyone else in your life.

From Louisville to Atlanta

Leaving my hometown of Louisville for Atlanta wasn’t just a move—it was a leap of faith. Atlanta offered me the opportunity to expand my career, connect with a diverse community, and plant new roots for my personal and professional growth.

Through every chapter, Ive remained deeply connected to my roots while embracing the growth that comes with stepping into new spaces.
