Why I chose GOD + ME first?

Its not selfish, hear me out.

“God + Me First” is about choosing alignment before everything else. It means putting God at the center of my life while also recognizing that I have a responsibility to care for the person He created me to be.

Self-care is important because you cannot continuously pour into your family, relationships, career, business, or responsibilities while neglecting yourself. Eventually, an empty cup affects everything you’re trying to give to.

For me, self-care means:

• Protecting my peace and setting healthy boundaries.

• Giving myself permission to rest without feeling guilty.

• Taking care of my mind, body, and spirit.

• Spending intentional time with God through prayer, reflection, and gratitude.

• Saying no when something is draining or no longer aligned with me.

• Making room for the things that bring me joy and restore my energy.

Putting myself first doesn’t mean I don’t care about others. It means I understand that taking care of myself allows me to show up for others from a healthier, fuller place.

Putting God first reminds me that I don’t have to carry everything alone. I can seek His guidance, trust His timing, and allow my relationship with Him to shape the way I love and care for myself.

God + Me First is not selfish,it’s intentional. It’s choosing faith, peace, healing, rest, boundaries, and becoming the best version of myself before giving everyone else access to what’s left.
